These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the counselling services provided by Sunara’s Safe Space. By accessing this website or booking a session, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or services.

1. About the Service

Sunara’s Safe Space provides integrative counselling and wellbeing support services for adults. Sessions are offered online and/or in person (if applicable). Our aim is to provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for personal growth and emotional wellbeing.

2. Suitability of Services

Counselling is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency care. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please contact emergency services, your GP, or a crisis support line.

We reserve the right to assess whether our services are suitable for your needs and may refer you to another professional if appropriate.

3. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential. However, confidentiality may be broken in rare circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or where required by law (e.g., safeguarding or legal obligation).

4. Appointments and Cancellations

Sessions are booked in advance. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged at the full fee.

5. Fees and Payment

Fees are agreed prior to the first session and are payable in advance or as otherwise agreed. Payment details will be provided at booking.

6. Client Responsibility

You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and wellbeing throughout the counselling process. Therapy is a collaborative process and outcomes may vary depending on individual circumstances and engagement.

7. Data Protection

We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal information is stored securely and only used for the purpose of providing counselling services.
